Rules and Attire
Course and Clubhouse Dress Code
As we all know rather
well, fashions and trends change and at The Manor House Golf
Club we do our best to embrace these without abandoning
the traditional values our members expect. Please find below our
views on dress code both on and off the course.
Men
We kindly ask that
men wear a golf shirt that is tucked in at all
times. Tailored shorts may be worn in plain colours with plain
knee length socks or sports socks in plain colours.
Please avoid wearing
the following:
Cargo shorts, ¾ length
trousers, jeans, trainers or sports shoes, collarless or sleeveless
shirts, rugby or football shirts/shorts or socks or large
logos on clothing.
Ladies
May wear sleeveless shirts
and tailored shorts without socks.
General
Only shoes specifically
manufactured for playing golf will be allowed on the course.
We ask all golfers to observe the
above guidelines. Golfers not properly attired will not be
permitted onto the course
Clubhouse
Dress in the Clubhouse should be smart
casual at all times. Gentlemen should always remove their hats when
inside.
Mobile phones should not be
used on the golf course or in public areas of the Clubhouse out of
consideration to other golfers and guests. If necessary they
can be used in the clubhouse foyer, changing rooms and the car
park.
